Description: Here is a beautiful, large kid leather French Fashion Poupee lady doll body from 1860s-1870s in excellent condition, WITH the accompanying original bisque shoulderplate. The body measures about 21" long, about 6" across the shoulders, arm length about 8" and about 11" around the waist. It is white kid in great condition, is not sagging and has no split seams or leaking sawdust. It has individually sewn fingers and toes with a ring on one finger! It is not marked or stamped, and has gussets in knees, hips and elbows. It comes with its original bisque shoulderplate that is about 6" across and 3.25" wide. No damage or repair to bisque. Neck hole is about 1.75" in diameter. This is a great body for a large portrait Jumeau or FG lady.
