Description: Hi all! This is a rare Blue Megalodon tooth from Bone Valley, Florida! Megalodon (Carcharocles megalodon) was the largest known species of shark to have ever lived. It grew to over 60 feet (18 meters) in length and fed primarily on large marine mammals including whales, dolphins, seals, manatees, and even the occasional Mammoth out for a swim. A great addition to any fossil collection or gift for aspiring paleontologists, the tooth measures 3.2 inches (8.13 cm) along its longest edge which is HUGE for Bone Valley Megalodons which normaly measure less than 1.5 Inches! The tooth has FANTASTIC serrations, a gorgeous light blue color, and no repair, restoration, or alteration! A great deal to own a wonderful tooth from one of the most magnificent predators of earth's history, without breaking the bank! All of my items come with a Certificate of Authenticity!
