Description: This is a beautiful large copper and brass cockatoo sculpture perched on a ring. It is unsigned but many of these were made by Sergio Bustamante in the 1960s and 1970s. The ring is about 15” in diameter. The bird is approximately 20” from the tip of his first crest to the end of his tail and about 5.5” wide. His wear is pretty consistent with age and use. Some small dings, dents and stratches. There is a small tear in one of the feathers under the top crest as can be seen in pictures. He has a beautiful natural patina. I will do my best to describe any flaws or defects. Please review the listing photos to make your own assessment of the item's condition before purchasing****
