Description: WOW! Another great find from our Historic Building. This large, wooden box is just beautiful and it has a really unique lid locking mechanism--the horse heads spread apart to release the lid. When I first opened this spectacular wooden box it was filled with vintage needle point projects that appeared to be from the 1950s (needlepoint not included). This is an extremely well made, vintage wooden box and it appears to be a Norwegian Tine Box but I am not an expert in these boxes or Scandinavian Folk Art.
