Book has a solid binding with bent spine ends, light rubbing to covers and a quarter-size soil stain to back cover. Front free end paper has a 1947 gift inscription explaining the signature by Mary Jester Allen that is on the half-title page. Allen was the daughter of Helen Cody Wetmore and long-time director of the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming. Gift Inscription: “For Daddy – May it be an enjoyable book for you. This is written by Buffalo Bill’s sister and is autographed by her daughter, Buffalo Bill’s niece. The niece now is the director of the Buffalo Bill Museum where we bought this book.
