Description: I am selling this beautiful Raleigh Competition GS for its original owner who I have known since he got it in the late 70s. The bike has been used for recreational riding, but not racing or commuting. It was always well cared-for, and the gearing was upgraded in the 80s to provide a lower gear. Wheels are the originals with Campagnolo hubs and Weinmann Concave 700c rims. Pedals are original Campy GS, but if you prefer, I can provide some Look style or SPD style pedals instead. Saddle was replaced with a very nice Brooks Colt. It's broken in but not broken down. Size is 23 1/2", measured the only way we did it back in the day, center to top. Standover height is 33 1/2". Top tube length is 22" and stem length is 9cm. Silca frame fit pump and bottle cage included. Frame has various marks from almost 40 years of light use, but no damage or rust. Give yourself a nice Christmas present, a new bike! Professional packing included, shipping at cost via ebay. Note on shipping. Ebay couldn't seem to calculate it correctly when I just put in size and weight so I changed to a flat rate. If it comes out less I will refund the difference, and if more I will just pay it. thanks
