This rugged driver will deliver natural frequency response on and off-axis through the extent of the vocal range. The powerful ferrite motor assembly is not susceptible to heat, so distortion and power compression is kept to a minimum even when driven to it's limit for extended periods. For even lower distortion, the vented pole piece includes a copper cap which also helps to extend the high frequency response. In addition, the naturally damped paper cone includes a waterproof coating allowing the MAF082.00 to be used in situations where it may be exposed to moisture.
