It is used to dye skin, hair and fingernails, and fabrics. It can prevent skin inflammation. The bark is used in treatments as well. It can grow to 25 feet but mostly around 10 to 15 feet tall. In bloom from late spring to early summer, the flowers give off a nice fragrance out of white to pale pink flowers. Grow in sandy, loamy soils that are well-drained for best results. Zones 9-11 Germination Mix seeds and moistened cactus soil together in a ziplock bag. Write the name of the seed on the bag. Place in the refrigerator for 7 days.
