Description: Designed by Giorgio Bosi, this stunning plate is handcrafted of white ceramic using traditional methods. Part of a series that celebrates the Sardinian sea, this plate is decorated by hand using the graffito technique whereby the surface of the clay is scratched, in this case with shades of blue enamels to recreate the mesmerizing silhouette of a shell. The plate is 9.75 inches in diameter. A hanger was hot glued to the back of the plate. I left it on for easy hanging but I will not vouch for it being safe. Should be easy to remove with heat. Otherwise in excellent condition no chips or crackers.
