Description: This listing is for a 5-inch high white milk glass compote or pedestal candy dish in the Diamond pattern by L.E. Smith Glass with a square, crimped bowl. It is in excellent condition. In the center is a faint line going around most of the bowl that looks like a tight crack, but it is not a crack. It feels perfectly smooth and when looking at it from an angle with magnification, you can see there is no break in the surface of the piece. I don't know what has caused the line, but I feel certain it was something in the manufacturing. I tried to show it in the last photo but again, it is very faint and difficult to see.
