Description: This beautiful pair of ceramic leaves offers a true vintage collectible vibe. One of the leaves is a pale pink with gold detailing around the edges and stem, as well as throughout the embossed body of the leaf. This piece has a painted artist signature on the back, "Genie '56." The other leaf is white with silver detailing in the same style as the pink leaf, also with the artist's signature on the back. The plates would function nicely as decorative items displayed on a plate stand or used to hold candy, keys, jewelry, etc. The craftsmanship on each plate is lovely; the artist did a wonderful job with the use of the gold and silver paint to highlight the features of the leaf detail. Pictures don't really do these plates justice, as it is difficult to capture the shine/sparkle of the detailing. There are no chips or cracks on either piece, just normal wear according to their age.
