LeBlanc VITO MODEL 35 PRO Alto Saxophone

Description: LeBlanc France built these Model 35's to compete with the Selmer Mark VI starting in the mid 60's. The key work is fantastic, comfortable, and unique. This one has the high F# key, with the key location just below the left palm keys, perfect location for the left pinky finger, and the added semi-tone key below the low D key for a multitude of fingering possibilities without using side or palm keys. The semi-tone key allows you to flat or sharp any upper stack keys, very unique. Solidly built and fully ribbed it weighs a bit more than a Mark VI and has a full rich tone and smooth fast key work you would expect from a pro model sax. CONDITION: Completely original, excellent lacquer condition, pads are fair to new. Missing decorative neck brace, no pull down. Original case, great condition. There are scratches throughout, light dings mostly confined to the inside bow, but a few light dings scattered about. NO dents or repairs apparent to the body. The body tube is straight, the horn has been cleaned inside & out, most of the pads are older with a few being replaced as needed, pads have been cleaned and treated with leather conditioner. Replacing pads AS NEEDED has been the chosen method to maintain playability. A full repad and professional set up would put this saxophone squarely in the Selmer MKVI, Yanagisawa, Yamaha pro model arena at a fraction of the cost. The earlier models were completely French made & assembled, with the later models assembled by LeBlanc in the USA with French parts.
