Description: Stack of journals ledgers and moreWe purchased these together and I believe they may have belonged to one family. I seen several mentions of E. B. Albright. I think they were from the Orwigsburg area of Pennsylvania or in one of the surrounding towns of Northeast PA.Ledger in pictures 2-5 I believe is filled with names and what looks to be monthly payments for something. There are 186 numbered pages. I would estimate it to be about 45% filled with entries. The other pages are blank. Dates are in the 1920s and 1930s.Ledgers in pages 6-9 look to be household expenses Dates in the 1940s. The blue book is approximately 50% filled with entries. The gray book, also has dates in the 1940s is approximately 90% filled.Books in picture 10: Cash book has entries from the 1930s and 1940s. This book is filled with expenses / budgets I would guess it to be 99% filled. The year book 1926 is from United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company Baltimore MD. There are handwritten entries in this book that I think have to do with milk. It is probably 25% filled. There is a little brown book that seems to be journaling some trips that were taken. The inside page of the book is titled "A Diary of the Travels of" it is handwritten: William H Albright.The books in picture 20 are receipt books, I think. Interesting lot! I loved looking through the household expenses and seeing the prices and things that were purchased. Fun lot to sift through and peek into the past!!We buy most of our pieces at auctions, flea markets & yard sales so we may not know the history of the item. We are not antique dealers, collectors or experts. We describe the item along with any flaws and markings we can find the best we can.
