Description: Ain't she a beaut'?! Here we have the INCREDIBLE Lee Morgan comin' to ya, Live At The Lighthouse! These 2 LPs packed full of soul jazz goodness were recorded Live in Hermosa Beach California on July 10th, 11th, and 12th 1970. This rare original release also carries a PROMO stamp, as is documented to occasionally occur with this issuing. LPs were treated EXTREMELY well throughout this record's life and remain nice & clean with only minor wear!!!!! ***ULTRASONIC CLEANED for your listening pleasure!*** Notes on This Pressing: Blue Note Records BST 89906Original blue / white Blue Note LabelsOriginal 1971 Pressing2xLP Double albumVan Gelder stampGatefoldStereoPromo1971Vinyl is VG+; both LPs are clean with only very minor scuffs. Jacket is VG, and DOES have embossed stamp in top right corner. Top seam (front of gatefold) has a couple small splits. There is also some light ringwear as well. Please note, I grade conservatively and by the Goldmine standard, here is what you can expect... For the VG+ vinyl - A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. For the VG Jacket - Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. ***WITH ALL THIS SAID if you have a Crosley or other budget turntable that comes in a suitcase, there is a chance with this, and every record really, that the tone arm, being the weak little thing it is, might bounce off, this is not a sign of a deficient record, this is an issue with the turntable. If you encounter this problem a penny taped to the top of the head of your tone arm generally fixes that right up.*** (SERIOUS jazz fans please ignore, just gotta throw that in for liability sake!) Please see pictures & let me know if you have any questions. ~~~P.S. Lots more stellar jazz dropping all this month!!~~~
