Description: The Sixth Sense by jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan was released on the Blue Note label in 1970. The album features performances by Morgan, Jackie McLean, Frank Mitchell, Cedar Walton, Victor Sproles and Billy Higgins. This is the 1973 black & blue press with VAN GELDER in the dead wax. The album plays great despite appearances. The vinyl is very good (VG) has a lot of surface scuffs and marks, but plays surprisingly quiet- on Side A a few pops and clicks between songs 2 and 3 that does not interfere with the music. Side B has a few more occasional pops and crackles in the background but they are very faint and do not detract from the listening experience. The sleeve is very good (VG) with the top seam open and partially taped, but the bottom and side seams are intact, a clipped corner on the bottom left. It’s not the prettiest but is a wonderful play copy!
