Description: The Legendary Heathkit Model # IP-2718 Bench Triple Output Power Supply with original manual. This power supply was purchased from the original owner and builder. The builder did an excellent job at building the kit. I have removed the main PCB and cleaned all the residual solder flux left on the bottom of the PCB from the build. I had replaced six 1 Watt power resistors on the PCB. I have removed the original thermal compound used on the three TO-3 components on the rear panel and replaced with fresh thermal compound. The electrolytic capacitors on the PCB have been re-capped as well as the 12,000uF electrolytic capacitor for the 5VDC regulator circuit. I have performed a complete recalibration of the unit. I have performed a Load and Line voltage test and tested the over current limiting circuit. This bench power supply is working like a champ and as it should. It comes with the original Assembly Manual which includes schematic diagrams and parts lists. If I did not already have two good Triple Output Power Supplies, you can bet I would be holding onto this one! Thanks for looking.
