The width of the rim is enough to help offset lip swelling. The cup is medium deep, with a rounded entrance to the throat for improved air flow. This mouthpiece was inspired by the legendary Bach mouthpiece which is well known to most trumpet players. The Legends 3C is not a copy, though. Legends Brass has taken this classic and updated it with the Legends #27 throat, Legends enhanced throat cylinder length, and Legends S backbore. The lightweight blank adds extra sizzle for more of a lead, or 'Las Vegas' sound. The heavyweight blank is extremely efficient; the added mass creates enriched slotting and core of sound.
