Description: This auction is for a Legends Brass JAEGER LEADtrumpet mouthpiece. Description Legends Brass Signature Series Jaeger Lead! Designed for Legendary Nashville Cat Tyler Jaeger. Tyler wanted a wide flat rim with a small inside diameter to enhance endurance; combined with just a little bit of depth in the cup for more control. The Jaeger Lead has an inside diameter of .585", with a comfortable rounded inside contour to the rim. The cup is medium shallow to shallow (similar to Bach D/E depth), with a v-bowl shape. This rim and cup are geared for sessions, upper register, and lead playing. The throat is slightly tight, a #28, and the backbore is the Legends Vegas, which helps to focus the sound. This model can get a big warm sound on the lower parts, but keep it tight and cool in the upper register, too. Tyler calls this his "chameleon piece", because with it he's ready for music of every changing color, style and genre!
