Description: The Arachnoid Starbase is the largest set of the evil Insectoids and doubles as their base of operation from which they plan their particular brand of mischief upon the rest of the Lego Space Universe. The set comes with the station's commander, Danny Longlegs, in a green helm and black vest, as well as a green Insectoid and two Droids.The Light & Sound Stinger is battery operated and works perfectly.The Base can separate into sections, a large energy orb collector machine and the actual base itself. Two smaller vehicles are also included, the collector vehicles has a detectable aerial craft and the base as a small hover craft. The set also comes with a tower in which to store energy orbs for later use - the only Lego Space set to have such a feature. There is no manual or original box. For an Insectoid Lego model from the 1990's...this Arachnoid Starbase stands the test of time. This model has 418/419 parts, with the green orb missing only. Best offers are welcome.
