Description: This lot consists of volumes II and III in the "Leitfaden für den Artillerieunterricht in der Reichsmarine" (or "Guide to Artillery Lessons in the Reichsmarine") series produced by members of the German navy during the 1930s and published by Ernst Seigfried Mittler in Berlin. All text is in German. You get: 1. Teil II: Geschützmechanik, a 94 page, 7"x9.5" hardcover written by Konteradmiral a.D. Punt (Seigfried Punt) and Korvettenkapitan Tschiersch (Walter Tschiersch) and published in 1933. This volume focuses on gun mechanics. There are black-and-white illustrations throughout. In acceptable condition, with no dust jacket. The blue cloth boards have moisture stains to the back and (to a lesser degree) the front, wear at the extremities, bumped bottom corners. The pages are wavy (and several are visibly stained) due to moisture exposure. There are marks to the front and back pastedowns, the title page, and a flyleaf at the back. 2. Teil III: Pulver und Sprengstoffe , a 42 page, 7"x9.5" hardcover written by Korvettenkapitan Tschiersch and Marineoberingenieur Burth, and published in 1931. This volume focuses on powder and explosives. In acceptable condition, with no dust jacket. The cover shows scattered white spots, light wear to the extremities. A moisture stain affects the top of all pages. There's an ownership mark on the title page.
