This is a good running, speedy laptop but there may be peeled off Lenovo or Thinkpad stickers, scuffs, deep scratches, minor cracks or dings, or other marks as it is being sold used with a lot of wear on the plastics such as the cover, palm rest, etc on it. Do not confuse cosmetic damage on the plastics of the laptop with how good the inside might be. The inside is fine. Also, there is an inverter which lights up the screen. It may take 60 seconds to fully brighten the screen so if it's a bit dim first turning it on, wait a minute and it will be fully lit up. This is not a problem. Many laptop models are like this. This listing is for a good running IBM Lenovo larger widescreened R500 Thinkpad laptop with freshly installed 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate. It also has installed Office 2010, which includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc. It also has some various useful software and cleaning programs. The picture is not of this laptop but instead from the internet to show you what it looks like. I sell a lot of laptops and do not have time to take individual pictures of each laptop. It comes with a power adapter cord, a 2.00 GHz processor, 160 GB hard drive, CD/DVD player and 3 GB ram. The battery is good and the laptop also works fine with just the cord. There may be scratches, minor cracks or dings, or other marks as it is being sold used with some wear on it. In some laptops there may be a bios password required to access the bios. The laptop starts up and works fine, and only about 1 out of a thousand laptop users ever goes into the bios for anything. As such most people will never even see that the bios lock is there. I usually get these from schools and they do not want the students tweaking the schools special settings. These settings will not affect your performance at all. I have freshly installed everything (so no viruses like in many used computers). I have a few of these available if you want one for now and one to stash in the closet for later so that you can still use those softwares that don't run on Windows 10 or 11 for a long time to come. A good powerful laptop with this operating system on it is basically unable to be found anywhere except from me. This laptop is sold AS-IS with no refunds.
