Two of these plates have noticeable wear to the gold trim (see photos) and they all have some utensil marks which is why you are getting 4 plates for the price of 1. These pieces are in good estate condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, or other defects except as already noted. I am selling them as a set so you get all 4 plates shown for the one low price.
