His career began with drama studies but later evolved into a career in painting as his preferred means of communicating with his audiences. In the 1960's he attended New York's school of Visual Arts. He won his first award in Los Angeles where he was awarded the Art Director's Award for three consecutive years. He works mainly in the mediums of acrylic and India ink to create his highly unusual unique works. His style is so original that one cannot help but be drawn into the framework of his eclectic visual sensibility. Posillico's works are collected in many parts of the world, including Japan.
