A milestone in music history, Joe Cocker turned to Leon Russell to assemble a touring band, which eventually comprised over 30 musicians including an enormous choir, a two-piece horn section and several drummers. After this tour, Leon became the 'go to guy' to organize touring bands most notably the stable of Tulsa musicians Eric Clapton used in the 70's as well as helping George Harrison to organize the tremendous Concert for Bangla Desh. This particular concert is of special importance because it is in Tulsa, Leon's hometown (although born in Lawton OK, he was raised, began his career and recorded extensively in Tulsa). A must have for any serious Leon fan.
