Visiting Card of the Palace of the Dwarves The concept of dime museums is a type of popular American entertainment designed as centers of moral education, but which is in reality nothing more than voyeurism. Located just a few blocks from Lafontaine Park, Les Nicol now invites the curious to watch them in their daily lives. The slogan “Come feel like a giant” more or less explains what’s there. Passing through the main corridor of the apartment, you can see the couple going about their household chores or reading the newspaper while interacting with the public. The house is richly decorated worthy of the mansions of the Golden Square Mile further west of the city. While the tourists stand in front of the domestic theater, Rose sits down at the piano, a miniature of course, and cleverly plays a popular song. Even their grandfather clock is custom-made. This is a vintage photograph and not a copy or reproduction. Photo post card measures 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and are in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and have strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
