Description: This is an original printing of the French paper Lettre - Journal de Paris - Gazette des Absents - No 4 Monday 1st Novembre 1870. This news letters were sent out of Paris by Balloon during the Siege of Paris in the Franco Prussian War. This piece is in very good unposted condition and comes with it's small supplement page. The front has written in pencil "avec supplement" noting it is included. This piece measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
