Description: Lg Antique 1900 Columbiaville Michigan Photo Collage 9 Town Scenes Peter’s Home School 21x18” Original antique Photo collage of important scenes around the town of Columbiaville, Michigan – undated, circa 1900 I would think – perhaps a bit later Wonderful early images . . . Large measuring 21” x 18” . . Photographic image mounted on a thick photo cardboard used in the day. Weighs 1 pound. Even today, Columbiaville is a small town . . . it was founded in the mid 1800’s The village grew and among the additions was a large Steam Grist and Flouring Mill and a Railroad Depot. William Peter was a mover and shaker and helped develop the town. This photo collage features many of the important buildings and scenes of the town – 9 images in total. The back side of the board identifies each image. Photos Include: Mrs. Peters Residence Uptown Patten and McDermand ? Store Downtown and Post Office Columbiaville School Building T. B. Church and Parsonage M.P. Church Railroad Depot Hotel Woolen Mill Condition: Very Good condition –cardboard has a little edge wear – seems like my camera is having trouble getting good sharp image with the ambient light, but the individual photos show the sharpness . . .
