Box itself is 14.25" x 6.25"*please check my Store under Vintage Collectibles for a much smaller child's size antique cranberry rakeQuite heavy, made from thick solid woodA beautifully made piece of Primitive Folk Art great for display. Very collectible. These were generally made in Maine or Massachusetts for blueberry and cranberry picking. This piece has some very old nails in it which are oblong/irregular, along with some newer small nails probably added much later. Great darkened aged patina on this piece. Someone has attached 4 removable plastic dots underneath to make it a free standing for display piece. Can easily be removed. A hook would be easily attached to back to hang on a wall [up to buyer]This is an OLD box and so has the charm of age and signs of use. Very collectible. Good antique condition- there is a small wood crack with a splinter of wood flaked off at the surface on the front right of box, see last 2 pics. This is stable and an old break. Also has considerable rubs and scrapes consistent with age and use, see pic 19. No broken or repaired rake dowels along back, none are loose, handle is securely attached.
