Description: This is a pair of Connecticut Foundry cast iron bookendsdepicting the Lichfield Cathedral. LichfieldCathedral is the only medieval three-spired Cathedral in the UK, and is atreasured landmark in the heart of England. It is one of the oldest places thereis of Christian worship. This replica was cast circa 1928 by the Connecticut Foundry. You can also look them up in MonumentalMiniatures page 89. This pair is ingreat condition for being almost 100 years now and are a tribute to theironworkers who made them. They measure 5” wide X 2.25” deep X 7” tall. My items are “as found”. Please look carefully at the pictures andrequest additional pictures or specific information if needed. There is expected age-appropriate wear, butthey are otherwise in very good vintage condition.
