Description: Life of Washington: {VINTAGE & ANTIQUATED 1902} By his adopted son George Washington Parke Custis. A memoir of the author was written by his daughter. The following helped with the illustrations and editing: Benson J. Lossing and Charles Walter Brown, A.M. Published by Vosbrink Mercantile Company. The condition of this antiquated hard covered book is acceptable. The covers, edges, corners and spine area have serious wear. The covers are a dark blue embossed with two white scars. The white lettering has some fading. The spine cover has tears, the ends have small tears as well. Just inside the front cover the end pages have tanned, the previous owner’s name and prices are written. The end page is loose, with tears. The binding is very poor, broken at the front and back. The first few pages are loose, and cracks by pages 368 and 529. All of the pages have tanned due to age. You may find some fingerprints and stains. The text is very readable. The text is full of black and white pictures throughout. Please examine all of the photographs carefully.
