Description: This cute little 'Yapper' is thoroughly enjoying a good old play in the rain. With colour inspiration and retro simplicity reminiscent of the 1950's 'Yap!' is a truly unique character. This small edition of linoprints were hand carved and printed in two colours using a reduction printing technique (carved once to print in light blue / green revealing the vintage off white paper underneath, then carved again and printed in grey for the final touches.) There are only 23 of these cute little prints each hand pulled on my gorgeous press in the Sona Beam studio. Each piece is printed onto vintage printing paper that I salvaged from an antique printing set. Caligo safe wash oil based relief inks were used to print this edition. 'Yap' will be sent in a board backed envelope and will come signed, titled and numbered with a description / small certificate of authenticity on the back (please see photographs.) This piece can be framed in a standard 5" x 7" frame with mount (see pictures for an example of a black frame & mount from The Range.) Watermarks do not appear on actual lino prints.
