(Only 1520 sets made)(Note: Runs on 027 style track just fine but given the LionChief drawbar connection between engine & tender O-31 or larger curves are recommended)The beautiful, great running, die-cast Berkshire Jr. steam engine with illuminated tender features an 2-8-4 wheel configuration, "maintenance free" can motor with fly-wheel, puffing smoke unit, LionChief remote control, bright LED headlamp, iridescent paint on engine and sounds to include whistle, bell, Disney Parks unique announcements, engine chuffing sounds and features LionChief Bluetooth 5.0 with Voice Streaming & Recording (VSR). The VSR feature allows you to stream your voice live through the engine tender speaker or record and play-back on command up to 3 of your own voice announcements. (Note: both LVC and VSR require use of the LionChief / Cab 3 phone/pad App to utilize these features; they are not accessible when using the included LionChief remote.) The Disney 100 tender features illuminated / flickering / color changing load & sides whenever the track is powered, die-cast gray trucks, dual electrical pick-ups for un-interrupted illumination, magnetic operating coupler on the rear and houses the engine sounds speaker.The basic sounds (Whistle, Bell, Announcements) do not require any transformer controls to activate as these all can be activated using the remote. The remote is also used for engine speed and direction. LionChief engines can run on any O/027 gauge 3 rail track and can use either AC or DC power to run. To run on a conventional layout, just put the engine on the track and set the transformer throttle to high (15-18 volts) and you then control everything from the LionChief remote. That said, this engine does require a remote to run, there is no "conventional transformer option". In addition to the included remote, this engine can also run off the (optional) Lionel Orange "universal" remote or your phone/tablet using built-in Bluetooth 5.0 and the free download LionChief / Cab 3 app which now also supports the Lionel Voice Command (LVC) system for "hands free" running and Voice Streaming & Recoding (VSR). I briefly test ran this sharp, strong engine on my layout and the motor, headlamp, remote functions, smoke unit and all sounds all worked great! This engine comes with the tender, engine specific remote, the original set instruction books and Disney 100 Parks "1 of 1520" certificate.
