Description: Here is a wonderful brooch made by Lisa Carlson, an artist who has been selling her one-of-a-kind jewelry pins since the late 1980's. They remind me a bit of the Pididdly Link necklaces I myself collect. Lisa makes every piece with her name on the back and attends all shows where her work is sold, according to a company website I just read. The pin has two large oval rounded glass amethyst-colored stones, and a few other small amethyst beads. Some other interesting objects are a small world globe, part of a watch, a trombone, an airplane, a skiier, a hot air balloon and and an ice skater. There are also other shapes hanging down.
