Linda Avey was an Arizona artist renowned for her representation of wide-eyed Native American children. In all of her paintings, she captured the happy, joyous days of youthful activity with her expressive, high-spirited children. Linda Avey had a remarkable talent for art and for most of her life, she earned her living as such. The sun always shined in Linda Avey’s world. She had a fertile imagination and portrayed children in so many different scenes with a range of expressions, character and spirit. Her paintings took the collector to a much simpler, happier time.
