The story of Steve’s “lost” letter from John Lennon inspired the Hollywood movie Danny Collins starring Al Pacino in the title role, now available on DVD. Winning the Fatea Awards Male Vocalist of the Year 2015 provided proof, if needed, that after 45 years in the business Steve can still deliver the goods. "Live Hemistry" is not a mis-spelling for "Chemistry" but a live album with many of his best songs. 7 of the tracks were recorded live during Steve's performance in Melbourne, Australia, in 1997, and the other 8 tracks were recorded live during Fairport Convention's 2001 UK Tour, which Steve supported. The album includes Here's to Tom Paine, which was selected by the Tom Paine Society as their theme song; Night Owl which was not only recorded by Dolores Keane, but was the title of her 1998 album; plus Steve's own compositions Slip Jigs and Reels and Naked Highwayman, which were later recorded by Fairport Convention. His instrumental style crosses classical music with Irish and English folk. He also plays a medieval instrument called an Arpeggione (bowed guitar). Live Hemistry was released on Hubris Records, a label formed by Tilston himself in 1995.No longer available on Steve's website, the CD is now hard to find. Excellent used condition. Case is clean and undamaged. Artwork/Inlay card has no rips or creases. Disc itself is like new, with no obvious marks or scratches. See photos - all photos show actual item.
