Description: Here is a pure Sarracenia Leucophylla plant. The parentage is a cross between cultivars: Wilkerson's Red Rocket' x 'Hurricane Creek White clone F'. 'Wilkerson's Red Rocket' is known for its vibrant red veining, and the Hurricane Creek clones are known for their lack of red veins, the pitcher tops often being purely white / white with green veining. This particular plant gradually redens as the pitchers age. This is the actual plant in the photos, just entering dormancy (after being repotted mid-season). The tallest pitcher is about 18 inches tall. Plant will be shipped unpotted. Shipping is discounted for multiple items. North American Pitcher Plants go dormant in the winter and prefer strong direct sunlight, and their soil must always be kept wet, usually using the 'tray method'. They prefer to be outdoors year round in most of the united states, but need artificial dormancy in more tropical type climates. Please do research on its preferred growth conditions.
