Description: Lledo Diecast ModelsLP43-110a 1931 Morris Van & LP68-036a 1932 AEC Regent Open-top Bus Limited Edition 2-Piece Set - No. 1,214 of only 1,250 Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, serving a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series. Lledo grew to be the biggest manufacturer of diecast vehicles in the UK and their models remain popular today with collectors worldwide. This 2-piece set was commissioned by RDP Publications to commemorate the 1998 International Lledo Show at Duxford Airfield. This was a Limited Edition of only 1250 sets made. The models are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity showing this is Set No. 1,214. Excellent used condition in original box, and complete with Certificate. Box has some light wear, but no serious rips or splits and no taped-up corners. There are a couple of stickers affixed to one end flap, with some writing, where a previous owner, an avid collector of Lledo models, has recorded brief details of the models.
