Description: This official Nintendo hotel controller was made as a collaboration between Nintendo, Lodgenet, and Hori. This is the v2 version with a potentiometer based joystick designed by Hori, similar to the N64 Hori Mini Pad. It was designed to be an improvement to the original N64 joystick. The performance and range values benchmarks on the controller joystick are also similar to Hori Pads. Normal unmodified Lodgenet controllers have a telephone-style plug used for Lodgenet hotel systems only. This controller has been modified for console use on regular N64 which involves extensive dremeling, soldering, and a donor OEM N64 controller board in the interior. Whenever you turn the console on or plug in the controller, you normally need to first press L+R+Start for initial calibration. This is normal for all modded Lodgenets.The controller pak connector is not accessible with this mod.
