Description: Selling a used 1965 Lomo Lenar 40-162mm f3.8/t4.8 remounted for Arri PL. This lens is for Super 35mm coverage and ready for production use. Lens was originally OCT 19 but remounted with a PL mount system to adapt to current day cinema lenses. It is fitted with RAFCamera geared rings at .8m for forcus/zoom. No gear on iris. Also comes with diopters for close focus. Focus and zoom are smooth. Was last serviced two years ago and was cleaned up nicely! Iris opens/closes without issue. Very minor microscratches on optics but doesn't affect image quality at all. Image has a glow about it wide open but handle contrast well when stopped down. Flares are rainbow banded with the many optics in place of the lens. There's nothing quite like it on the market, and it has a beautiful vintage look (1960's manufacturing!) Lens comes with rings, case, and diopters. Also has step up ring to clamp on mattebox or threaded filters. Pairs with the older Lomo OKS 1960's lenses well!
