The cassette is sealed in plastic and has never been opened or taken out or played. A rare collectible signed by the creator of LOOM and only 25 people were given this — now you can be one of them to display - rather than displaying a mass produced version of the game, you can display a signed by the creator version and know you are in a very select group — only 25 were signed in this edition and who knows if any other survive A true collectible for the LucasArt/LOOM fan A little backstory for those interested — as is not so much the case today, when a game company back some years ago put out a new game they did various promotions on it that were sent to journalists and those who would write about it — in the hope of attracting their attention and influencing them to have a nice feeling and positive attitude towards the product and company. In this case, they took Moriarty, earlier known for working for INFOCOM who put out the game here and had him do a signing of the box and included the audio cassette seen here and seller was given the one as seen here. As another example — when DVDs first starting coming out, Disney even sent out framed artwork of the Lion King to journalists/reviewers so this is not unusual to do. Nowadays other than events at which people attend, companies making entertainment products don’t regularly send out or give out “specials” pertaining to the product as a matter of course.
