Description: Very nice crocoite from Red lead mine in Dundas Tasmania Australia . A couple of nice examples of this stone are ready to put in your display . From vintage collectors estate . It seems one was mounted later. One mount on the smaller is dry, and the other is mounted using a different material and is soft and still moveabke . I believe the larger should be turned the side of that one shows the different natural character of the rock but will leave that for the buyer to decide . This is how I acquired and will leave this way as found . Box cover shows a little wear and mounted onto a harder plastic than my other specimines that are mounted on foam this is not . minerals / gemstones in Perky Boxes Vintage Estate Collection . I'm not a photographer, just a rock hound .one perky box with Sunstone has crack , all in good working order with some having sun / age fading or discoloration. Note : if I notice a stone is not sticking in box I will add more sticky to it but this is a vintage Lot and some of the mounting may shrink or expand during weather or a/c changes or due to vintage aged glue during the sometimes bumpy roads of travel in shipping and be a touch loose so please unwrap carefully so far what seems to be working very well from responses I've received from happy customers is as follows , they will be wrapped gently in light plastic ( produce bag piece)to keep cotton from sricking to sticky mount and rough rocks then packed cotton inside perky box and bubble wrapped individually for shipping . When removing if cardboard insert can be removed,you might want to open the box and remove that cardboard to get saran off easier . As always , reasonable and fair offers will be considered .
