Description: Included in this sale are 12 issues of Popular Photography from December 1940 through December 1941 but missing the August issue. I've photographed the front covers in groups of 4. Then I shot personal favorite inside spreads, two or three from each issue. I've included a range of ads, cover stories, technical, artistic etc. All the inside pages are intact and well preserved save for just a handful. There are lots of interesting and historically important things to read and view that will peak your imagination. These were given to me by a mentor around 2000. The magazines range from fair to good in condition. The September issue has a separated cover. The April cover is taped on. The December '41 issue has the most deteriorated cover. The December '40 and January '41 covers are the least damaged. Some of the spines are pretty badly worn from many years of exposure but they are all solidly bound and holding together well except where I've noted above. The two December issues include color inside, all the others are black and white throughout but with some spot color here and there. The back covers are all ads for Kodak.
