Description: Lot of 12 Vintage Solid Olive Wood Hand Carved Nativity Set Figures plus Crèche , Set from Israel. Very nice nativity. All in really good condition. Crèche has an area that folds up for small storage box. It is hinged and one hinge appears a bit loose but is very stable. Hinges are on bottom. May not ever need to replace or reinforce , see last picture. We bought it used over 25 years ago. Hinges may not be original just unsure. But we never replaced because it is stable . See pictures for dimensions. Tallest figure is 6”. Has shepherd with lamb in shoulder, Mary, Joseph, Jesus, three kings, 2 baby lambs, one donkey, cow and crèche. Crèche is approx. 9” T x 11” W Wide. Rectangular pieces interlocked like puzzle to form crèche except roof is solid grooved wood!! Floor in front is hinged for easier storage. It folds out and has staggered edges forming nice designed platform like addition to flooring. Star at pitch of roof! And a palm tree also. Dimensional beauty!! Easy to store, very unique!
