Description: Lot of Six Real Dried Artichoke Flowers 7-8 Inches Wide on Natural Stems Lot 14 From an edible vegetable to a blooming flower, these attractive, decorative, spiky artichokes are sturdy and have long-lasting color. Their striking mostly purple centers are surrounded by light tan / ivory inner petals with outer petals of greenish tan tinged with red. Each spiky bloom is attached to a sturdy stem, ready to be placed in a vase or used in a bouquet as a standout element. With the stem removed, they can also add a striking statement in your wreath, swag or bowl arrangement. This lot includes six dried artichoke flowers on their natural stems and the pictures show the blooms you will receive. Pictures 2 - 7 show the bottom three flowers in the pictures and pictures 8 - 14 show the three flowers on top of the bottom row. They were homegrown in southern California without pesticides, handpicked, rinsed in soapy water to dispel any pests, then rinsed in plain water and hung to naturally air-dry upside down out of direct sunlight. Each bloom is unique in size and shade of purple and several types of artichokes are grown, so the petals on some may be spikier and others more rounded. These flowers measure about 7 to 8 inches wide at their widest point, 4 to 4 1/2 inches tall and including their stems, about 14 to 16 inches long. These flowers come from a smoke-free environment but may still have a slight "artichoke" odor. They will be padded and shipped in a box via USPS Ground Advantage.
