Description: Presented is a lovely antique Victorian 14 karat yellow gold and coral stickpin. This piece dates to the late 1800s and is likely of American make. The head of the stickpin is set with a round piece of coral in a lovely orange pink shade, about 7.5 millimeters in diameter. The head of the stickpin forms a bowl almost for the coral, with finely engraved texturing around the edge, very sparkly and eye-catching. This piece is in excellent condition. The coral is well set and in great shape, with no chips. The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee the head of the piece to be 14 karat gold and the shaft to be 10 karat gold. The pin measures about 3 1/4 inches long. The head of the pin is about 5/8 of an inch in diameter. The pin weighs 2.4 grams without the stopper bead, or 2.7 grams with the stopper. -jm Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
