Description: A lovely antique Victorian 9k rose gold alpha and omega band ring, hallmarked to 1889. This lovely Victorian solid 9k rose gold band ring has a nice 'D' shape and gently graduates from the front to the back, the gold is a very warm pinkish rose gold, the ring has been hand hammered with unique alpha and omega decorations around the band. The ring has English hallmarks including a partial maker's mark, '9 .375', the Birmingham anchor and date letter 'p' for 1889. The ring tests for 9k gold. The ring sits between a size 7 and a size 7 1/4. The band measures approximately 5.5mm at the front graduating down to about 4.3mm at the back. The ring rises about 1mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.0 grams. The ring is in good condition with general wear, some of the alpha and omega decorations are rubbed around the sides.
