Description: Sadly, the time has come to downsize so I will be selling some of my favorite collections. Since Christmas is coming, I am starting with the Department 56 Alpine Village series. I have collected these over many years, but only displayed this one behind glass a couple of times. I am the original owner. Today's piece is called "SPORT LADEN." On one side of the building is a store selling sporting goods and on the other a pastry shop and the door to a room for let. I am very careful with my collection, so although one of the older pieces, this set is still in like new condition. Released in 1993 and retired in 1998, it comes in its original box and styrofoam packaging. A working light and cord are included. The box sleeve is showing its age. It is discolored in places and some of the edges are a little torn. Please see the photos The trees in the background are not included in the sale.
