Lovely Scalloped Square Bowl PAK-HOÏ by Bernardaud Limoges Floral & Insects

Description: These is a lovely square bowl with rounded and scalloped corners, made of porcelain by L Bernardaud of Limoges France. It is is such a beautiful shape! Looking down on it reminds me of an open flower. It is decorated with sprigs of red, blue and yellow flowers on its four sides, and on its corners, tucked in the scallop, are different garden insects, like a butterfly and a dragonfly. The name of the pattern is PAK HOÏ. The square dish is 6 & 3/8 inches by 6 & 3/8 inches and stands about 2 & 1/4 inches tall, and only weighs about 11 ounces. Bernardaud is a French family business making Limoges porcelain that began in 1863 in Limoges France. The company is now run by a 4th generation. Both green and black backstamps started being used in 1900, and I have read they were used until 1920, 1929, 1940's and 1970's so it is hard to tell how this bowl is. This bowl is in excellent condition and made of such beautifully thin and white porcelain with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. Looking at an angle to the light I see no marks on the glaze either. Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree view for a closer look.
