Description: LP: Ravel's Bolero - Warsaw Concerto - Cornish Rhapsody - Suzanne Auber (pianist) with The London Symphonette Orchestra - Rondo Records Comments: Cleaned and fully play-tested. This album is a real oddity! There is a dearth of information available about this release. As you can see, there are no labels on this record. I have to assume that was an accident - or was it? Perhaps this is a test-pressing copy? If one wants to know which side of the record is playing, the etchings in the dead wax give that information. Visual Record Condition: The VG- condition vinyl has good shine but also numerous surface scuffs and short, light scratches. Some groove wear is visible on Side B. Record Labels Condition: There are no labels. The catalog number and side can be obtained from the etchings in the dead wax area.Play Test Notes: I played this "Highest Fidelity Stereophonic" record from start to finish before offering it for sale. General background record surface noise is heard as a fairly mild crackle. On the "Bolero" side, there are persistent ticks from the get-go, but the sound quality is excellent and the ticks impact decreases as the music gets louder and louder as the side progresses. On Side B, ticks, clicks (and a couple of pops) are heard from time to time. Mild distortion is also occasionally heard. The record provided an enjoyable listen even with the described background record surface noise. Of course, there were no skips or sticks. Jacket Type and Condition: The standard LP jacket is in VG condition. Please examine the photos for the best understanding of condition. The cover art looks good with moderate general wear and heavier wear and dents at corners. There are no seam splits. The text on the spine is completely legible. There is some writing on the back side. There aren't any significant creases. The album is in a protective outer poly sleeve now, to guard against further wear. Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The inner sleeve is a brand new replacement white paper sleeve with die-cut center hole. Inserts: None. Shipping Notes: The shipping charge you are asked to pay covers some, but not all of the costs I incur for postage and quality packing materials. This will be packed well for secure shipping. By default the package will travel by the slower Media Mail rate. For speedier delivery, an option to use Priority Mail shipping is provided at check-out. The post office makes no delivery time guarantee for Priority Mail, but Priority Mail packages almost always are delivered within 2 or 3 days from the time I hand them over to the post office. I generally pack and ship items sold right away and hand them over to the post office at the earliest opportunity (sometimes same day, sometimes next day).
