Description: Lieutenant Curtis Kinney was a Royal Flying Corps fighter pilot during World War I who joined the Royal Flying Corps in 1917, and trained in Canada. After his training he was assigned to R.F.C Camel Squadron No.3 and served in combat until August 16, 1918, when he was wounded and spent the remainder of the war in a hospital. Later in life Kinney authored a well-known book about his war exploits with the Royal Flying Corps titled ''I Flew A Camel'' which was released in 1972. Listed for auction is the autograph of Lieutenant Curtis Kinney signed on a postcard. The autograph is addressed to a collector and is signed ''sincerely Curtis Kinney'' in blue fountain pen. The postcard is postmarked, affixed with [2] postage stamps, measures 5.00 x 3.50 inches and is in fine condition.
